Medical records firm’s call center set to hire 140
Phoenix Business Journal — by Angela Gonzales
Enterprise Consulting Solutions Inc., a Phoenix company that focuses on electronic medical records storage, plans to hire 140 people over the next 60 days.
The company, which currently employs 50 people at its Phoenix call center, will host a call center job fair May 5–7 at its new offices at 1507 W. Parkside Lane, Phoenix. The outbound call center positions, which pay $10 an hour, will be responsible for making outbound calls to provider offices for chart reviews.
Founded in 1999, ECS opened its 13,000-square-foot call center in March, moving from its West Valley location. The company retrieves paper medical charts from medical offices on behalf of health plans, scanning in the charts for the insurance companies, said Doug Spencer, CFO and head of business development. Insurance companies use the information to provide accurate reimbursement to medical providers.
“We’re the front end of retrieving records,” he said. “Everything is done with high-speed scanners. We built software that interfaces with our clients.”
That data is uploaded and insurance companies use the system to code the charges.
The company also provides consulting services, helping organizations improve operational efficiencies by integrating people, processes and technology.
