Employees in procurement jobs at the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) will seek to reduce record storage outsourcing costs in 2010-11.

More than £18.7 million was spent by the DWP for records storage in 2009-10, under contract with Capita Group. Data released by work and pensions minister Chris Grayling indicates that this is still less than the £21.2 million spent in 2008-09 and the 2007-08 spent in £22.7 million spent in the previous year.
